  You can visit, otherwise Helmstedt is not a vacation spot. We stopped because we were passing through with the motorhome and wanted to pass the time. For a Saturday afternoon, the city is pretty dead. In addition, a lot of vacant houses.

  The website is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Then you drive 25 kilometers to read a sign at the entrance that in Corona times it is only open from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

  Small but nice with lots of interesting information and contemporary documents of history.
