::The price was slightly higher than what I would have expected to pay for a room of this standing. However, the room was quiet, clean and with good A/C and provided a good night's sleep. I did not have breakfast at this hotel so I cannot comment on that. It's around a 15 minute walk to Speyer Cathedral, so a fairly good location. Gedächniskirche is near enough to be heard. Its gothic architecture is illuminated at night so we could see it out of our window at night.

::A excellent hotel, always tidy with very helpful staff and service. Restaurant is good out there. When I looked at my room (201) it looked very magnificent and clean too. When you display the hangers outside for example when I hang a “tidy room” they always do it for me! How superb! When you have kids then they give you haribos. Very reliable and recommend

::We were there with our 4 children for 2 nights. They were super friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. The rooms are lovely and the beds, showers and bathroom, the points that are really critical, were great! They had a table tennis room downstairs the kids could use and a library plus a great internet connection. I could not recommend this place highly enough. The city itself is lovely and super for kids and adults with the Technical museum and the wonderful architecture of the church. Great price and great fun. We will be going back for our anniversary, minus the kids :)

::Friendly staff, lovely rooms, cheerful downstairs bar, easy walking distance to town centre, excellent staff -- very helpful! Highly recommended. Also: inward-facing rooms are very quiet.
