::What should you say when words aren't enough? During my stay in the university hospital in the thoracic surgery intensive care unit, I received only friendly, highly professional and committed care from the medical nursing staff. The doctors who saved my life were not only highly professional in their profession, but also polite, friendly and had great empathy. They showed a human heart for the patient, which doesn't happen often in today's world.

::Unfortunately I don't have anything good to say. I had an appointment on July 9, 2019 to get a second opinion on my illness. The appointment was scheduled for 11 a.m. I was there very punctually, which in retrospect was a good thing because parking spaces were in short supply. After registering, I got there pretty quickly. The staff was quite friendly and explained every step of the examination, which was quite positive. Unfortunately, I've been waiting for the final interview for two and a half hours because the senior doctor can't be found... no joke... Now I was told that I should be patient a little longer. Not only for me, of course, but also for the other patients. I find that very unprofessional, especially since I already know that the final conversation won't take long because other patients are behind. That's exactly how it was in the end. The conversation lasted 10 minutes. It doesn't matter, the long waiting time was much more frustrating. When I consider that I wasted around €300 on travel, hotel, food... I find it depressing.

::Recommended clinic for chest problems. Competent medical appointment that explains patients well and understandably. Hardly any waiting times with an appointment.

::In 2015 I was operated on for tracheostomy at the Robert Koch Clinic (thoracic surgery) and I am still deeply grateful for this perfect procedure! I thank Dr. Elze for welcoming us and Dr. Wiesemann for the perfect execution of my new life! Many thanks to all the helpers for the great support and all the best to everyone!
