::Unlike other reviewers here, I just can't seem to get away from this bench. My question as to why I am still being charged interest due to a transaction that happened 5 years ago is literally ignored here. Every time I am reassured that they have no idea what is going on. The confirmation of the cancellation of my savings account is also studiously ignored. When I moved my checking account to another bank a few years ago, the new bank informed me that the EKK wasn't really complying quickly. I don't have any debt here, just some credit, so why isn't it possible to finally turn my back on this bank completely? I'm excited to see when this "neverending story" will be finished.

::The Evangelische Bank is not a church pew as one might guess from the name. This is a credit institution that wants to tackle the difficult path of sustainability development with all interested institutions and customers. I'm happy to pay something for the checking account so that operations can be maintained and something good (donations) can be organized with it. I had no problem getting a 2xk loan, digitalization is progressing, in the app and in the general appearance. Good company.

::Opening a simple private checking account for my mother has already taken over a month - it probably won't work anymore. Foreign transfers (actually a given for a bank that also supports missionary activities) are complicated and excessively expensive; even PayPal is cheaper! The worst thing: The customer advisors probably don't document anything; with every call you can start from scratch and explain everything.

::When looking for an ecological modernization loan, we came across the Evangelische Bank by chance. Making an appointment online was quick and easy. Our consultant Mr. Falkenhahn called promptly the next day at the agreed time. The consultation was extremely competent, friendly and refreshingly uncomplicated. All necessary documents and identification could be uploaded/done online. The conditions of our modernization loan are unbeatable compared to all commercial banks and online offers! ::My loan application for my studies at a private university was "friendly" rejected, even though this "bank" claims to be an official partner. Fortunately, there are alternatives to this “social club”. I have now completed my studies very well and have been earning quite well for a few years. - The official church assessment would probably be "you belong to the evil rich" Of course I left the church. thanks for nothing
