::Beautiful ex - DDR brutalismus in center Chemnitz, not far from the Karl Marx statue. Comfortable rooms, and tasty breakfasts. Recommended!

::The hotel is located close to the city center. The famous rathaus of Chemnitz is very close to the hotel and can be reacbed on foot in 5 minutes. The hotel has a very spacious reception area with pleasant decoration. Its a 26 story building with the restaurant at the last floor. If you get a room on the top floors, you get a very nice view of the city. We got a room at 20th floor first but then we requested a change and got on 24th floor. The rooms are a bit smaller in size but the view from the window is awesome. The breakfast is arranged on the top floor and you can enjoy view of the city from 26th floor while having breakfast. Breakfast is a big highlight here as it is really well organized with various options. Its a buffet breakfast and plenty of different options to choose from to customize your breakfast needs. Staffs were very nice and kind and ready to solve any issue if there was. As I mentioned, just on a complaint of bad air quality in the room, they changed our room immediately. The room has very limited space and facility by the way. But apatt from that it was a good experience overall.

::Hotel has the best view in Chemnitz, you have a lot of options for the breakfast but the room service isn't that good we had the go clean the room card hanged on the door for two days and nothing was done then in 3rd day they finally came and cleaned the room and changed the towels. But other then that I really liked the hotel and the view. EDIT: I was stayed at this hotel for this week as well and my room was cleaned like it should have been so for this week I'm very pleased

::How could Dorint ever improve on this? This hotel looks like a jewel in Dorint's crown, if you believe the ads. Nowhere else will you find such a balanced mix of nostalgic rules and contemporary professionalism. The staff and management should do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your stay, and a promise made will not be taken back. It is wonderful in the restaurant on the 26th floor with a panoramaview of the city, and with an extensive choice of fresh items in the buffet. Bar, fitness and swimming pool give you the ultimate feeling of relaxation after the effort. With window and door open, energy-consuming air conditioning is unnecessary. Did you forget something? then it is already arranged before you expect it. The only downside is the lack of extra pillows, blankets and towels in the room, but no doubt the extremely dedicated 24x7 reception will inmediately take care of that on request. And surprise: a week after your stay you will receive a personal message from director Marcel Günther in which he asks if everything went according to plan. He invites you to come back to his hotel if you need to be in the cultural city of Chemnitz. To good to be true! ;)

::I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience. One of the highlights was the breakfast on the top floor with a beautiful panoramic view - definitely worth checking out! Additionally, the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. However, I did have some negative experiences with the reception staff. I found them to be quite rude and unhelpful, which was frustrating. I had to wait for over 20 minutes for a response and when I did ask for assistance, they were not very accommodating. Despite this, I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and enjoyed the breakfast offerings.
