::During covid, and having no cooking facilities, I am dependent on takeaways. The choice and quality are limited but at Block House I treat myself one a week on a sumptuous feast. This is Food. The rest are just fuel.

::We came first time in this restaurant and all I have to say is that everything was just perfect the salad the meat I had the Rib-eye wich was great like how I want it also the Tiramisu for the close was great. The only bad thing is that we had to go, but we gonna return soon!!! Great restaurant 🍴😋😍

::I've been going to Block House for around 30 years, and it's always good. There is essentially a set menu, so nothing experimental, but even pescetarians and veggies will leave happy (not sure about vegans). Their children's dishes are so reasonably priced, and if it's your birthday, look forward to a tasty treat!

::Good service, good food, and a good atmosphere. We were a bit unsure about the wine to take, and the waiter gave us several samples to choose from. Steak was perfectly done, a problem with the order was also very quickly solved. Certainly recommendable.

::Great service, very efficient even when busy. Excellent steak. Recommend the Hereford Ribeye. Incredibly juicy and a good cut. Prices are very fair for the quality of the food.
