::Beautiful old building, calm charming beer garden, great beer, excellent service from people who know and love what they are doing, this is the highlight of Leipzig for me. I didn't eat, only enjoyed the excellent beer.

::We were recommended this place by a local and glad we tried it out. It does seem to be very popular and so booking is recommended, although we arrived on spec, the staff were friendly and managed to find us a table near the bar. The beer is very refreshing and compliments the menu very well. The food is good quality, plentiful and a good price. The service we had on the evening was fast and friendly too.

::This is a very cozy and very popular restaurant. With outdoor and indoor tables. Be sure to book a table in advance (it means sometimes months!). The best knuckles here are edible, but you should also ask in advance because they don’t always make it. But it's worth because it's made perfectly. You'll find great beers by the side.
