::Good thing I switched to DiBa a few years ago! I was just there to have my student loan legitimized by KfW Bank. After a nice greeting and describing my concern, the nice lady said: "Legitimize the KfW loan, no problem." Great, I thought it would be quick. Then the question is, are you a customer of ours? I replied no and suddenly the whole thing wasn't so easy anymore. She had to find out more from a colleague. End of story, I'm not a customer here, so they can't legitimize me. I was told that I couldn't be identified and that there would be a postage cost. There is a stamped envelope from KfW Bank and I had my ID with me for authentication. It did not work. Now I called the VR Bank Opposite and lo and behold, it's a normal service that the banks have to offer and carry out. I was right. It's sad that the employees don't seem to know their stuff or don't receive enough training.

::I also wanted to exchange dollars. Even though I have had an account for 35 years, two employees told me that it costs 12.50 euros. But you're not serious now. After researching on the website, I found that the exchange is free with an account. The employees are obviously misinformed. In addition, although the branch says it is open online, the checkout will probably not be open again until 2 p.m. I drive 20 km to Kaufbeuren, looked up the opening times on the internet and was then checked in. I don't really see any reason to stick with a local bank anymore. Service almost no longer exists. Another thought as I am currently hosting refugees from Ukraine. Wouldn't it be a better approach to allow people to switch without an account? They already have it tough enough, and the banks are throwing more sticks between their legs. Solidarity looks different

::Service machine for transfers etc. has been abolished. No transfer slips available. Update: Due to complaints ;-) a new service machine has been installed!
