::Beautiful dining room but the lack of servers and bartender really impacts the experience. Our server was great but he couldnt possibly handle the full dining room.

::Where to begin. You think this being a castle it would have great service. But that’s not the case. The place is dreamy but when you arrive nobody is there to greet you. We walked in after we made a reservation and waited for about 5 minutes until someone rushed past us and realized we were waiting. We were seated and given menus and then the person disappeared. The restaurant wasn’t full but they only had 2 staff. One doing all the drinks and one waiting tables. We sat there for about 30 Minutes until the waiter made it over. We wanted to order the T bone for 2 and he said “ that takes an hour” we were surprised and changed our order to something “faster”. We ordered the flank steak and the pork steak. He rushed us saying that it was really busy and we needed to place our order. They brought out some bread and oil thankfully because the food took another 45 min. Should have gone with the T bone after all. Idk what others like about this food. But it was just ok. Nice presentation but it has no salt whatsoever and it was bland. At this point my husband got up and took a salt shaker off their counter because trying to ask someone for anything would have taken another half hour. In all pretty subpar service. The place is charming but the service was terrible and the food meh. 🫤 save yourself the money.

::The Remise restaurant at Purschenstein Castle is a large, beautiful location in a historic building with a great ambience. The kitchen is creative, the dishes are beautifully prepared and we enjoyed them. But in order to make the fine meal an all-round wonderful experience, the service also has to be right. Things aren't going well here. We are quickly escorted to the table and just as quickly the waitress leaves again. At some point we receive the menu, but we cannot order anything from this employee. We've been sitting at the table for half an hour before the first drinks finally arrive. In the meantime, the service was mostly occupied with itself. The cash register must be a really serious problem. On the second evening we had the tomahawk steak, which is carved at the guest's table. In this house it was - without exaggeration - literally slaughtered at our table. When asked about this, the waitress told us that he had never been shown this before. His boss is responsible for this, but she regularly leaves the house at 9 p.m. In summary, we had a rather unsatisfactory dining experience here. The ambience was great, the food was tasty, the service was clearly poor.

::Very good food, one of the best schnitzels I've ever had. The other dishes were also very appealing, tasty and well prepared. The ambience in the restaurant matches the theme of the castle, it looks elegant and is beautifully furnished. The waiter was very attentive, highly professional and friendly.
