  The Naturhotel Bärenfels exceeded our expectations and, with its location in the Eastern Ore Mountains, offers a place of peace. The hotel itself exudes a cozy atmosphere and welcomes everyone with warm hospitality. Our recommendation of course also applies to the restaurant and the regional specialties, which were prepared with fresh ingredients and left a lasting impression. The hotel staff also deserves praise. Friendly, attentive and always helpful, they made sure that we didn't lack anything and that we felt completely at home. Overall, we can warmly recommend the Naturhotel Bärenfels. We'd love to come back!

  Very nice, cozy hotel in which you immediately feel at home thanks to the comfortable and up-to-date furnishings and welcome thanks to the friendly, committed service. The very good regional, seasonal cuisine with a twist and the location from which you can immediately start hiking in all directions round off the overall impression.

  We ate at the restaurant 2 out of 7 days, which means it was very good. The burger and the hirschbraten are definitely to try for any non-vegitarians.

  Rustic design. Rooms are comfy and clean, up to date interiour. Meals are tasty but nothing special, and a little on the expensive side. Staff is friendly and competent, no complaints.

  Amazing food in a great location! We sat right by the window with a great few of the mountains whilst we ate the famous 'Neunerlei' - A delicious selection of local delicacies. The waitress was also very welcoming and warm. It's perfect if you also want to go for a scenic afternoon walk in the area.
