  I have been a patient at the Oldenburg Clinic since 2010 with Prof. Dr. Alsatian. For me, he and his team are absolutely top class. Knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and very helpful. You are in good hands here and will get well again quickly.

  After an operation, my mother was placed in ward 141 for follow-up care and received excellent treatment there. The nurses and the ward doctor were very attentive, competent and had a very keen sense of people and their needs. And all of this despite absences due to illness. The short stay in the palliative care unit was also very pleasant for her - and for her relatives too. That was exemplary!!

  I had a planned cesarean section here in 2022. The registration for this was planned a day in advance and of course it was clear that it would be a cesarean section. This was questioned several times by a very incompetent nurse or helper during registration. The CTG showed slight contractions and I was cheekily told that I probably didn't understand anything at all. Unfortunately I had to wait a long time for a doctor. The nurse who did the registration and admission was really cheeky and I noticed that she didn't agree with the caesarean section itself at all and kept asking me demandingly why it was being carried out. On the day of the birth, only the bare essentials were explained to me. The cesarean section itself was okay. The station was a disaster. Unfortunately it was very, very dirty in the room. Unfortunately, there was very little help and I had to make sure I could manage everything myself. After two nights I was sent for an examination before breakfast because I was to be discharged. On day 2 after the birth by cesarean section, I noticed. All in all, it wasn't a good experience at all and I wouldn't want to give birth here again.

  Not only the doctor and staffs did their job professionally, they also helped me overcome my fear during the process. Really appreciate their effort.

  How I can see, you have deleted my previous recension about your clinic. Also many people have same experience like we had. My wife had childborn in your clinic. We are very disappointed with doctors and medical sisters. Two times wrong epidural in back, 4 hours we must wait Caesarean section because all staff from midwives to doctors told us, that natural is the best and we should try natural. After more than 12 hours my wife was only 2 cm open, and than started the problem one after another. After borning my child , my wife can't stand up from bed, she was with anesthesia to much exhausted, she ask for help, medical sisters told her " what you don't want to take your child". Because of this things and much others we will never come back again and we don't recommend this hospital in any case. Better go to Bremen or other bigger city in Lower Saxony.
