::We stayed there only one night and had dinner at the restaurant. First of all, the room was really hot, all of the windows were covered with thick curtains, and the air conditioner was not making any difference. We wanted to lower the temperature but we couldn't do it by ourself and needed to call somebody to do it, because all the air conditioners of all the rooms were connected, so if we lowered the temperature in our room, it would change the temperature everywhere, that's what they told us. Not very convenient. Talking about the room, the lights were very soft, too much. Impossible to see yourself correctly in the mirror to put some make-up on, for example. There was a little spot on the room with a dressing table (supposed to be used for that kind of purpose) but there was no light ! The only one that was close enough was the one from the shower ! And then, the big part, the restaurant. We went there for dinner and had the four courses menu, for about 90 or 95.-. Everything was fine. After dining, we went back to our room and sleep. In the middle of the night, I began to have stomach ache. About one hour or so later, my friend was feeling really bad. She got sick. Of course, we left because our stay had come to an end after that situation. Nobody asked us anything about the fact that we were leaving earlier than what we were supposed to. One week later, I felt bad again, I decided to go see a doctor because I had never experienced anything like this until then. I had a par-asite that generally appears because of infected food, like fish or meat. I explained to my doctor the misadventure of my friend since we ate the exact same dishes and he assumed that her body didn't kept any parasite since she got sick that night. We actually had two types of fish and one type of meat for dinner. I don't know what happened, but the thing is that I don't see what could have got us sick since we didn't eat anything else "out of the ordinary" I would say. The fact that we reacted proves at least that it came from something both of us had eaten, and we didn't ate similarly except that evening...

::A real sweet spot this one. Nicely renovated historic guesthouse with a modern extension which hosts upscale restaurant and meeting rooms. Friendly and super helpful staff - family-run.

::Friendly and welcoming staff, very nice bedrooms with nice touches of Vitra furniture, Eames lounge chair and ottoman in our room. Easy walking distance to the Vitra museum, well worth a visit. Would stay here again.
