::Fantastic German food with great presentation and superior taste. Here you can taste authentic but modern and beautified version of German cuisine in the cost and classy restaurant settings. It’s located in the old city part inside the over-100-year-old building. It has stunning façade. Coming here will delight you with various meat choices with awesome potato side dishes. Desserts taste wonderful as well. Portions are smaller than street restaurants but can fulfill you. Great services. Nice for special occasions.

::- booked this hotel because of the wellness facilities which turned out to be closed because of Corona with no prior notice of this on booking.com nor in the confirmation. - ''extra large 2p bed" turned out to be two 1p mattresses loosely next to each-other resulting in annoying shifting of the mattress - Walhalla explicitly offered the option to fulfil special requests. Therefore I arranged a small surprise for my girlfriend, including a small birthday cake delivered to our room as breakfast. The cake did not turn up , after which I called reception. Eventually a cake did arrive, obviously hastily assembled. The cake was dry, did not come with any cutlery and barely any decorations. Upon check-out I mentioned the disappointments, after which the receptionist (with whom I arranged the surprise) said she 'would consult her colleagues' and asked me to pay for the special requests regardless. All in all not something you would expect from a hotel such as Walhalla.

::Old Boutique hotel from 1600's with wooden structure, indeed well maintained. The one less star is mainly for small size of the room. I had a single room but it was too small for the luggage to open also. Do try their Organic Osnabrück Gin 👍
