::Great historic hotel with an impressive view into the Ahrtal. The wine menu is also impressive and contains many rare and old vintages. Have a Look, once you are there! Rooms are rather traditionelle, but all very clean.

::Plenty of parking if arriving by car. Near the city but out of the city where it’s very quiet. Right next to the hiking and biking trail. Restaurant is amazing! Lovely breakfast. Heads up to Americans, no air conditioning.

::Complexe service make the person uncomfortable. The restaurant high expensive and no taste. I recommend to visit the area there but not to boek a room in it or a table.

::The hotel is located on a hill above a small town but is on a vineyard. The rooms are nice and efficient. The restaurant is magnificent and we had an exceptional meal. My husband had the 3-course meal which started with an amuse-bouche of asparagus panacota. The panacota was perfectly executed. I was quite impressed and was looking forward to the next couse. 2nd course was a fish over asparagus also delicious then came the palate cleanser a cucumber sorbet ... wow I could eat that everyday! The main meal was a very tender beef cheek and beef sous vide, less tender but tasty. As my main meal, I had the fish over risotto with asparagus which was a delight. We finished with a nice dessert. Overall a superb meal, best meal we ever had travelling in Germany. Congratulations to the talented Chef and thank you!
