::The reception was friendly and we were able to move into our rooms after a small misunderstanding. Had a room facing the inner courtyard and therefore nice and quiet. The hotel makes a well-kept and clean impression. However, in a room for two people there should always be two glasses and not one juice glass and one wine glass. At the same time, you should consider taking individual duvets. Otherwise, the room has the charm of a children's or teenager's room, so you immediately feel like you're on a school trip again. Certainly suitable for a short trip but I wouldn't take it for a longer term. But location is great.

::Mixed... The location is great... The room was ok. There are advantages to having the toilet separate from the bathroom, but the room was extremely small and there isn't even a sink. The room price was ok (€74), but the breakfast was overpriced at €15 per person (we skipped it). The front desk staff was very friendly!

::We stayed there for 2 days in tropical temperatures, it was tidy and clean and it was close to the train station. However, the price-performance ratio is not right. 15€ for breakfast is way too high. At times it seemed a bit worn out, you can tell that it will be closing in the foreseeable future and there is hardly any investment going on.

::Good location unless you have a car. As of May 2013 will cost you 12 Euro a night in their small sometimes full underground garage. Even with small European cars getting into their tiny spots is also stressful. When full you are looking at a 5 to 10 minute walk to one of the public parking garages where it is 5 Euro per calendar day. I had to commute North everyday for training and on the way back the traffic between the main train station and the hotel is bad. You see the hotel almost 10 minutes before you reach it. Breakfast is good, but expensive, 15 Euro! As the Germans all complain about in their reviews my room also had only one outlet. If you want to be plugged in and use your laptop on the couch or in bed, you'll probably have to buy an extension cord like I did. No AC, so when it's hot you have to open a window and listen to the street tram noise on my side of the building. Toilet is has it's own little room. Have to use your room card every time you go up in the elevator... annoying. WLAN not included !! The room itself is OK/clean, but too many negatives... Won't return.

::Calls itself 4 stars, but isn't. No kettle, no microwave, no air-conditioning. Charged us 70 euro at check out for "additional cleaning " for carpet stains that were there when we arrived and were still there when we left. The 3 star suite novotel in Hamburg was much better than this "4 star" shambles.
