::Very nice Hotel, staff, super clean rooms and nice bar / restaurant. The spa looked ok, was not open when I went (before 9am). One hilarious "slap in your face" - I basically opened the drawer just to learn that they had emptied it to tell their guests that they should know that hairdryers in that hotel category can be found in the wardrobe... thank you, I guess?

::Wifi exists, but doesn't work. Breakfast is €25, parking is €31 which is unbelievably higher than anywhere. Staff comes unawaited during the day to clean or to lay towels before the bed - nice, but we don't like people coming when we stated that we don't need cleaning on that day. Lights in the room are very dim. The personal is however very nice and the inner yard is wonderful.

::Very nice hotel in a historical building. Great, generously sized rooms. Very nice inner courtyard made our stay quiet. Excellent Spa and decent restaurant with attentive service and reasonable prices. Valet parking works well. Can recommend!

::Immaculate, spotless, but needs some practicalities. The Fürstenhof is a beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful. The hotel is spotless, one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Rooms are spacious, and while furniture is a bit dated, this is just a minor point. However, there is one major let down: electrical outlets. It is 2018 - the vast number of travellers, especially business travellers, have multiple devices to charge. In the room I stayed in, there was not a single electrical outlet within cable length of the bed side tables. The desk also had no easily accessible outlet. Getting power to my laptop involved crawling under the heavy wooden desk, opening an old style lift up panel under the desk, unplugging either the phone or the desk lamp to get access to a single, loose, grimy outlet. This is a minor fix but a very important detail that has been overlooked.

::Amazing experience! Stayed here a week and was impressed by the character building, the outstanding staff, delicious breakfast menu options, and facilities. The cleaners pay close attention to personal preferences. For example, I left classical music playing on the TV when I left my room on the first day and they had this station playing when I arrived at my room every evening for the rest of the week. Only downside is the cost of drinks in the hotel bar - holy smokes! I was quoted 15 euros by the bartender when I asked for a gin and tonic - what?! But otherwise, only good things to say, especially for teetotallers.
