  The thing that was nice was that it was close to the city center. Otherwise, the room was super small (for 2 people above average high it felt almost claustrophobic), bed very bouncy when one of us would move, bed sheets felt like paper. Our shades for the window didn’t work and the little dark curtain barely covered the window. The bathroom didn’t have a proper door, it was all glass and not much privacy when sitting on the toilet. For hygienic reasons they said they do not do room service which in my opinion is just them being cheap. We did not book the breakfast option so no comment on that.

  Nice place, bit outside of the town but near the railway station which we were using. Walk about 20mins into the lovely town

  This would have been a three star review based on the property and service: we paid €159 for a double room on a fest weekend, finding that the room was insufferably hot but the street noise if we opened the windows made it equally difficult to sleep (even with earplugs). The room design is a little strange -- dated, but with an ultramodern glass bathroom with color-customizable lighting that showcases all goods to your roommate or the neighbors when the room door is open. What was really sad, though, was that we came to Bamberg for the fest but arrived a little late (around 10:30) and the reception told us the fest was closing at 11, so we went to bed disappointed at missing it. We visited the next morning, however, and learned that the fest had in fact been open until 1am! Wrong information is worse than just saying "I don't know!"

  Loved it here with my boyfriend. Only con was the bed. The beds kept sliding apart lmao
