::My wife and I stayed the Hotel Villa Geyersworth in Bamberg for 2 nights. It was undoubtedly the finest hotel room we have stayed in in Europe. We had a superior double room which averaged around 270 dollars a night. This included a breakfast each morning for my wife and myself. The bathroom was incredible. There were his and her sinks. There was a bathtub I can almost lay out in. There was a beautiful glass included shower that was separate from the bathtub. The room consisted of a couch for two, a beautifully striped armchair, a writing desk with a chair for the desk and a glass wood table to set drinks on. There was a small refrigerator and a Nespresso coffee machine. The beds were very comfortable and elevated slightly off the floor. The room came with air conditioning. The downside is that there were two flights of steps that were marble that you had to walk up to get to the room. So there was no handicap accessibility. The concierge asked if we needed help to take up our luggage so you could get help if you needed it. But there is no elevator. The European breakfast for my wife and I was outstanding. However there is no toaster to toast the bread. The location is outstanding as you are right next to the old part of the city. A short walk takes you to most of the tourist sites and tourist shopping. The restaurant at the location was very adequate. My wife had the mussel pot which was delicious. However my lamb dish said that it came on a bed of Mediterranean vegetables in a vinaigrette. The vegetables actually consisted of 90% yellow red and green peppers which I can't eat. The other 10% was eggplant and onion. So if you order the Lamb be aware that that's what you're going to get. All in all one of the finest rooms I have stayed in.

::What a wonder - a truly 4 star hotel. Front desk/ concierge was fabulous. Thank you. especially to Sandy! Room very polished and comfortably furnished. The Viia Restaurant was gourmet and the service was first class, start to finish. The breakfast buffet also lived up to the hotel rating. Lots of choice, cold and hot. Great location near the Tourist Office, and walkable to the old streets, and cathedral. On the canal -- very picturesque.

::Great location, lovely setting and friendly helpful staff. We originally booked one night and decided to stay another. The hotel underground garage was a bonus, especially since it was warm outside, as was the room air conditioning when you came in from touring! The breakfast was good and you could sit on the patio looking out along the canal.

::Beautiful property in old Bamberg. Located in the heart of the historic district. Michelin star winning property is a guaranteed good stay. Comfortable and clean rooms. The service is always outstanding. The food is also fantastic. If nothing else, come for the Bavarian style breakfast and relaxing atmosphere.

::If this review is helpful, please LIKE below. Comfortably large rooms with good HVAC. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Only downside is limited parking on-site. The hotel has a new side and an older side. I think AC is only on the new side. There is a spa/gym in there basement limited to an exercise bike, a treadmill, and a very nice sauna. This is my favorite hotel in Bamberg. Been there multiple times.
