  Food was pretty decent. I found the double room with a size of approx. 10 square meters to be unreasonable. We could hardly move, there was only one chair in the room, so seating was only on the bed. There was a huge mold stain in the bathroom. Sauna was included, which was also only set to 60 degrees, the relaxation room was cold. Osterwieck was extinct. Never again!! Absolutely no recommendation!

  Pleasant old-fashioned hotel with a very friendly atmosphere, clean and spacious rooms and a more than decent breakfast. The staff is warm, there are plenty of parking spaces and the location in the heart of Bad Harzburg makes it perfect for excursions of all kinds: we'd love to come back!

  The hotel is old and expensive. Nice typical German restaurant.

  I was given a lovely room in good condtion, with a spacious bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the heating effective, and the decor attractive. The evening meal was simply spectacular, fresh local produce well made and well presented. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. There is a nice little library of paperbacks to borrow, in a variety of languages. Civilised and comfortable, convenient and reasonably priced.
