::They don't keep the appointment you agreed upon. You have to wait more than 5 hours even though you have an appointment. They also cannot correctly enter the one you agreed upon into their program. In addition, your findings may be lost if they send it to you by post.

::Unfortunately I have to add another review. My husband's surgery was canceled today for the 4th time in 2 months. Again on the day of the operation. Even the reassuring words of your social media department are no longer of any use. The surgery was recommended by the doctors at your clinic. This is just pure stress that you are causing the patient and family. Worst patient management we have ever experienced.

::We had an appointment at the surgical outpatient clinic here today. Everything went smoothly, as always. Nice reception, great doctor, great information about anesthesia and also the ECG. I would particularly like to highlight Sister Ulrike. She's been in the ambulance for sooo long. A competent, cheerful sister. It is the heart of the surgical outpatient department. Thank you Sister Ulrike

::My husband's surgery was just 2 hours before the surgery date!!!!!!!!!! and for the 3rd time within a month!!!!! cancelled. Can't we demand a minimum of empathy here? The accompanying letter from the UKSH states that hernias of this extent are extremely dangerous. Despite urgent advice from the treating doctors - including the senior physician at UKSH - my husband said it was "not an emergency" and it would be best to find another clinic (original sound). Not only that he had to do all the examinations twice (anesthesia, blood tests, etc.). As a partner, I have also postponed business meetings several times and taken vacation. He has already had countless operations in various German hospitals. But he's never been treated like that before. The beautiful website explains how well patients are treated here. But unfortunately that's apparently just marketing. I was briefly given the number of the UKSH complaints office, but it is “unfortunately not busy at the moment” in Lübeck. The telephone number provided to arrange a new appointment was also communicated incorrectly. Patient management didn't even know about the cancellation. Unfortunately very frustrating.

::Ward 45 b is absolutely amazing, that's where the patients are treated. We haven't been washed for the last two days in a row and left there for 2 hours and no one cares...and so on...you could write a whole book about this station!!!
