::Hotel is nice but strange to charge parking fee on top of 112 euro/night and it's outdoor parking + situated in a small town. The nearby Vital hotel charge no parking fee...

::Great hotel with one problem, the restaurant staff need to learn some tact. We made a reservation through the front desk and when we arrived at the restaurant we were informed that we had no reservation. I explained we had made the reservation through the front desk so she showed us to a table and said she would call and check. She came back and told us we had no reservation which I reminded her that we made one with the front desk, she kept repeating that we did not have one, this was in front of all the people, she then got one of her colleagues to talk to us who then repeated that we had no reservation and said we could have the buffet if we wanted, at this point we were thoroughly embarrassed as everyone was watching us so at this time we rose and left. On our way back to the room the lady who had made the reservation was unaware of the situation and offered to call and sort it out but by now we were resigned to eating elsewhere. On reflection it may have been a language issue more than a reservation issue, that said no one offered to correct the situation the next day. Otherwise this is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting.

::Overcharged me €163. Corporate fascist vibe. At check-in and break fast. Nice saunas.

::Lovely hotel - really friendly staff who all speak great English (which is great for me as my German is shockingly poor). Some of the rooms are a little dated now, but the are slowly being renovated (and the ones which have been completed are really nice). I've been lucky enough to stay in a few rooms now that have a balcony overlooking the award winning gardens of Bad Lippspringe. Great all year round, but definitely best in the summer time - very relaxing.
