::Update (21/08/2014): After my husband contacted the company yet again, this time by email, he finally had the money transferred back to his account on August 12. We rented online a car from them for 4 days, starting on July 7, to drive to our own wedding near Copenhagen. It all seemed fine at the beginning. However, near the border, we discovered that one of the tires was losing air and was half flat. This would only have made me give them 4 stars instead of 5 though. The biggest problems were yet to come... My husband returned the car around 8:10am on July 11. At 8:27am he bought his S-Bahn ticket from the U-Bahn station on Burgstr., to return home. We kept this ticket, and so we have proof that he definitely returned the car before 8:30am. When he returned the car, it all went smoothly at AVIS and they didn't say a word about any extra charges. Several days later, however, a billed arrived in our mail with a charge of an additional ~30 Euros, and the money were withdrawn from my husband's bank account. On the bill, the return time on July 11 was listed as 8:37am (hence the charge for the extra day), which is clearly bull*% since we have evidence that he was already at the U-Bahn station at 8:27am. Since then, we called AVIS twice to, very politely, explain our problem. Both times they said that there must have been a misunderstanding, and they will write us another bill and transfer the money back to our account. My husband offered to go there and show them the ticket, but they said that's not necessary, because he "said it with too much confidence to be lying." However, nothing happened after either of the calls, and almost a month later we have yet to get our money back. My husband emailed them almost a week ago, but we never heard back from them. This is a very unprofessional company, and we wouldn't recommend anyone to rent from them.
