::Moin, wanted to apply for a loan of € 12,000 from VR - Bank Elmshorn. During the consultation, the lady offered me this loan at over 7% interest. I then received a loan from Sparda Bank in the same amount and on the same terms and at an interest rate of 1.99% APR. That's what I call usury, thank you VR - Bank Elmshorn, never again!

::I have been a satisfied customer here for 20 years. Had changing advisors over time, everyone was always friendly and humane. Of course you are made offers, but if you are not interested, you will not be further annoyed. My current advisor always has everything in view, I feel that I am in good hands here and I am treated on an equal footing. With other financial institutions I have unfortunately had the experience that none of this can be taken for granted. So I prefer to stay at Volksbank! Online banking also works smoothly. Thanks!

::Unfortunately very unfriendly and even hurtful after tragic family events. Even though I had invested a lot of money there. Then I switched because my account could no longer be used and the Volksbank stubbornly insisted on this nonsensical account name. No other bank has ever reacted like this, no one has kept such offensive account names after a bereavement. And that although I hadn't even officially reported it there. A little humanity couldn't hurt.
