::My 6 months baby was very sick and we had to stay in the hospital for one week. I have received the best treatment and the people there made me feel like home. There was nothing I could complain about . I would like to specifically thank Mr Julian Kaps for the attention and professionalism. He followed up with us and provided with professional guidance all the way through. Our baby is healthy again . Thank you very much .

::Review in English since it might help other non Native Germans. My wife gave birth to our first child here in Porz and it was a great, exceptional experience. We spent 5 days at the delivery room, post partum recovery station and our kid had to spend also 5 days at the Intensive station for Kids. Right from the first call (we were not registered here) they welcomed us and treated us with competent care and compassion. Most nurses and almost all doctors were sweet enough to communicate to us in English given they my wife didn’t speak German. We got PDA(Epidural) at a short notice and they were really considerate right after the normal vaginal birth (for which they did all they could, they REALLY don’t want you to have a major operation) and gave us our space. Request for a Familienzimmer (family room) so that I can stay with my loved ones was also quickly accepted. The Children Specialists and especially the intensive care nurses who took care of our little one were the sweetest people I have seen and they helped us with everything from changing diapers to putting on clothes. The nurses and the place where my wife was recovering helped us with breastfeeding and always checked on her progress. What was amazing was the coordination and communication between different departments and people working shifts. Although there were multiple midwifes, nurses and doctors treating us, we never had to wait or explain anything more than once. It was a perfect orchestra. I type this review with my healthy new born in my arms thanks to the wonderful people at Porz without whom we wouldn’t have had a stress free birth in a foreign land. 5 stars are not enough.

::The WORST Hospital. The workers here aren’t nice and when my mom left for a second and came back to me they were like “ we gonna kick you out if you go and come again “ like huh??? Hello???? And they are so slow and cold heart. Like they literally don’t care, and like they just wanna do they’re Job and leave.

::I was taken into this hospital in an ambulance from Koln airport . The friendliness , speed, efficiency and calming effect of the two paramedics , Kristian and another slightly younger man , was excellent . I've been in many ambulances in several countries in my long life , but this was the best experience by a long shot considering the extreme pain and disconfort I was in. ONCE INSIDE THE emergency room, the triage was carried out IMMEDIATELY, yet it was a SATURDAY NIGHT ! ALL the staff , with no exceptions were extremely kind and efficient . They were also very patient with my almost non existent German , though I was trying to learn quickly . They did a number of tests , again in an extremely and competent manner IN SPITE of all being so obviously extremely busy . I really dislike hospitals as I've been in them all through my childhood every week and also through my adult life . Some experiences were hideous . But these doctors , nurses ,the radiographer and also the fantastic paramedics who suddenly had to deal with another TWO emergencies at Koln airport at the same time , made my experience SO much easier . This was , in 61 years , most definitely the best team and hospital I have EVER been in or had the experience of visiting . The cleanliness also was incredible . But it's the COMPETENCE mixed with friendliness which really made a HUGE POSITIVE IMPRESSION on me . I'm back in Scotland now, yet I can't even through out the bandage from the expertly inserted needle or line which left NO BRUISING. A nurse called Olaf did that far better than anyone ever has before . What an amazing hospital .... I could go on for days praising all of them . Great experience ... with previously really extremely agonising pain. They all deserve medals .

::My wife was rushed in to this hospital from the airport. The ambulance staff were friendly efficient and just wonderful. Once at the hospital the service was just amazing nurses, doctors, radiographer all so fast friendly and efficient. Just so different from waiting for hours in the uk. I can't thank the staff enough, this is great hospital. To cap it all they even had phoned for a taxi for us when my wife was discharged. 5+ stars or more.
