  Excellent location above the Neckar River with very nice rooms and excellent restaurant. Historic site makes for romantic stop on the Burgstrasse.

  Beutiful castle hotel with nice rooms in style with what you would expect. The resturant is very high class. The professionell team made amazing food and the service was exceptional! Their wines are also very good. We hade The White sparkling resling sekt trocken and red lembergen. I highly recomend a visit.

  All in all it was good. My rating is purely for the view from the hotel. It is indeed a special feeling when you are staying at a medieval castle. The negative point is that you don’t get the facilities that you would expect after paying so much. The room was a bit suffocating with only a small window. I booked the tower room with Neckar view, the view is indeed great just that if the windows were a bit bigger then it would have been comforting. The restaurant food is okay and overpriced. I have had better German food in other restaurant. But the view from the restaurant is amazing so I would say the price is worth.

  The restaurant is located on a hill, enclosed by the castle. From the dining room you can look over the entire city and river, which looks stunning especially in the evening and at night time. Staff at this establishment is absolutely fantastic, highly professional, friendly and attentive. The food was faultless. We even got an appetizer beforehand (see pictures) which was on the house. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking for something different or a bit more elevated than your usual dinner.
