::I contacted the hotel (days in advance) as soon as our flight was canceled due to an airline strike. It wasn't an arbitrary cancelation. We could not fly to the airport in which the hotel is located. They told me by phone that no one was there who could help with the reservation. A global hotel brand has no one in the middle of the day who can help with a reservation?! Even after I told them the situation and emailed, they still charged me the full rate, over $250. I would think that a hotel that is located INSIDE an airport would take this into account. Flight cancellations were happening daily last week. In fact, the airport completely closed today to certain flights because of an airline strike. So, other people must have also been affected by similar circumstances. They sent no receipt for the charge. I only knew about it from a credit card alert. It's useless to be a Hilton Honors member or to have multiple past stays in your account. I was still treated without respect.

::Understaffed - Not the fault of one individual but poor service overall due to understaffing. The location is convient but still overpriced for the Frankfurt area. Rooms are average for the area, additional services such as parking, breakfast and room service are very expensive and a simple billing error took multiple phone calls to resolve due to lack of accounting staff. Even the Hilton Honors member behind me wait 30 minutes for a check-in due to understaffing. Will not stay there again.

::great location inside Terminal 1, but the front desk staff was not knowledgable and did not provide helpful info on how to get to the check-in at Terminal 1 C780. They didn’t even direct us to the elevator. What is really missing is a service to get the luggage from the room to the check-in!! Although the check-in seemed to be very close, we had to walk a very long time with our luggages. Given the Hotel’s location, the staff should be trained how to direct guests to their check-in locations.

::The hotel would be a perfect 5/5 for all the many reasons listed by the others here. Unfortunately this is the handicap accessible bathroom...(see picture) That "compensation" statement of a faucet is unfortunately significantly less able to be handled than the object it resembles. To be specific, the perfectly smooth handles are unreachable if you are sitting in a wheelchair... The perfectly smooth texture of the two non-spherical handles offers no grip. So if you had gotten soap on your hands, you could not adjust the water or turn it off. I'm almost six feet tall and I had to lean over the sink to reach the handles because Also the soap dispenser is bolted to the wall in the far corner and it is as far as possible from the sink itself. Again if you are wheelchair bound this means you would have to literally move a few feet, stand up?! to get the soap, and then move back to the sink. The dimensions of the bathroom sink area make no sense for people that are disabled.

::An outstanding hotel with top location and walking distance from the airport! One of my favorites when it comes to both personal travel but also organizing international business meetings! While at the airport, the hotel is super quiet, no disturbance whatsoever given this is one of the busiest airports in the World! Price-quality ratio - exceptionally good! Food quality - very good! Facilities and amenities - everything one might need for short-term stays! Rooms - spotless and perfectly clean! Highly recommended!.
