    It is not advisable to open an account in this branch! As a newly founded company, we opened our business account at Apobank upon recommendation. It took three weeks for the opening documents to be sent to us. The reason was a technical defect in the IT conversion, but why they couldn't send us simple documents was unclear to us. We accepted it first, although that should move us to abandon it. We wanted to get everything ready as soon as possible with the receipt of the documents so that we can be entered in the commercial register. Bad luck. Wrong documents were sent to us and the bank employees did not even notice when we asked. The opening was extremely difficult and processes only progressed if you checked the branch several times. When that was through we were happy to finally be able to start - nothing there. At first we didn't hear from the Apobank for a long time. Very long time. Four weeks after opening the account, we had neither access to online banking nor cards and the power of attorney applied for was not carried out. That was seven weeks after our company was founded! So I wrote an email to our contact person. She was on vacation and I wrote an email to the branch. There was no answer. After 10 days I followed up and was angry that not only services are not provided, but we are also being ignored. From then on, it was already clear to us that we would change banks and we prepared everything. Nevertheless, we needed access to our account because our customers transfer money to it and we also have to make transfers. We sometimes had to write these by hand because there weren't even any transfer slips in the branch. We were promised that they would hurry up. The coronation, the power of attorney, had not yet been processed. So it's not just about IT, you don't process customer orders either. Two weeks after we were promised it would be faster, you guessed it, still no login data. What else can I say. Fortunately, other banks are doing better. The damage that was done to us is annoying, the disrespectful treatment almost worse. Unfortunately, other customers have had negative experiences with Apobank in the past few months. Conclusion: You don't try to compensate for the technical deficiencies with service. We had to follow up on each process several times, and some processes were only processed once we had followed up. Even little things, like changing the name, only worked this way. Although we sent an extract from the commercial register to the bank, we were referred to as GmbH i.G. on the transfers for another four weeks. Of course, this makes a less reliable impression on customers and partners and was only remedied after we again informed the bank of the change to a GmbH. This review was written in August 2020, should the service and performance of Apobank improve in the future, I would be happy. Edit: I thought we'd get our credentials and the review was over. Apparently, Apobank has other plans here. I am now writing this on September 10th, almost three months after the company was founded. The login details still haven't reached us. You probably had wrong addresses in the system (we didn't give them wrong information, we filed them incorrectly). It was only noticed again, you guessed it, when we repeatedly asked. It is terrible, our responsible advisor does not want to or cannot help us and we stand there as victims and have to suffer this. Funnily enough, the bank made another mistake that was only now revealed. You probably changed the IBAN in between when you created the account. Result: our tax office was informed of an incorrect IBAN by the bank, which caused the SEPA mandate to be created incorrectly and we now have to pay default fees ...
