::The location is excellent and so does the variety of products but the employees there are the essence of rudeness, not to mention the treatment if you do not speak proper mother tongue level german.

::Actually a jewel due to its central and easy accessible location (finding a parking spot can be tricky though). Hasn't got the variety of its "bigger outskirt siblings" but yet enough to fill 95% of all home improvement needs. Friendly and helpful staff too.

::I had today an awkward situation with the cashier and I do not think I will ever go back. During the check out, they asked me to please keep my debit cart out. After checking my name, which was Spanish and in obvious agreement with my phenotype, she also asked me to show my passport and took a while to verify that the card was not stolen (I assume). I am fine with them asking people to identify themselves to avoid fraud, the problem comes when they only ask the Spanish guy from a queue of around 5 German looking people. It was quite humiliating.

::The store has not a 'huge' area as for such store type (hardware store). But it contains most kind of hardware and build equipment, which type is limited by one or two producer. This restriction imposes the its size. Therefore, if you are needed some special / branded thing than go to a Bauhaus on the outskirts of the Berlin.
