::Panda's and the themed buildings surrounding are only the highlighted start. With so many species on display it differentiates itself from other capital zoos. I found the 3 level aquarium/bug house worth the time. So many spiders! Family ticket price is 51 euros and I find that a bargain for a full day of family entertainment.

::This is a nice zoo to visit if you have the time while visiting Berlin. The prices are typical for a zoo, and there’s an attached aquarium you can visit for a few euro more (it also has reptiles, amphibians, and insects/invertebrates). They have informational signs and ticket cashiers that speak English as well. You can rent wagons and wheelchairs, if desired. They have a fairly wide variety of animal species that seem content and well cared for. Additionally, there is a free app you can download for the zoo that has a real-time map, event tracker, and general information.

::Very good maintained zoo. Nice exhibits and animals have a lot of space. Enjoyed the pandas and the exhibition they are in. A lot of detailed information about animal welfare, natural environment and risks of extinction. Pricing is reasonable, do enjoy a drink or diner in the zoo. Quality is of German level. Enjoyed it a lot and would go here again if the opportunity is there. And do enjoy the park that survived the war (more information about the history is in the park and especially in the giraffes exhibit).

::Very large, great variety of animals. Staff spoke a multitude of languages which was very helpful. The layout was easily accessible. The zoo wasn't expensive either €21 for zoo and aquarium. Play area for children and could easily spend a day there!

::I went to this zoo to see the pandas and I wasn't disappointed. I found the layout of the zoo to be very 'walking' friendly and there are a large numbers of animals on display including some magnificent white wolves. The bears looked in superb condition and all the animals looked well cared for. This must be a very pretty zoo when all the trees and shrubs are in leaf. As already stated in another review the entrance fees are reasonable likewise the food and drink in the restaurant. Not crowded during my visit because of the cold weather.
