::Viel Show nach außen.

::I graduated from this school. Looking back, I have to say that it was very good. In the beginning the school had old rough spinets, which were eventually replaced and the toilets were also renovated. From there it really only went uphill. The courses on offer were also very good; There is a DS course with Theaterwerkstadt, an art house, a physics and chemistry corner and a music house with special acoustics. In addition, a huge sports field and a sports hall including a fitness room with equipment. But at the same time this means that the terrain is very extensive and you have to be able to walk well, as the breaks between the blocks are sometimes only 5 minutes long and you really have to hurry to get to the next block on time. In addition, there were billingual classes, which also included many students who grew up bilingual, and the Wilma-Rudolph School was often the next choice after John F-Kennedy. On days like St. Patrick's Day, when suddenly everyone (including the teachers) wears green or Halloween, when the students go to class in disguise, I notice the American influences very much. The project weeks and pranks abound every year and are fluffed up for real school parties. Pupils who disrupt the class or who have behaved poorly are given the opportunity to go to the training room, where they can reflect on their behavior with an educator - at least that was how it used to be. The technology is also very good, the classrooms are all equipped with whiteboards or projector projectors. I didn't notice it myself, but a friend who went to another school in Steglitz at the time had pointed out to me that they were still watching films with VHS cassette and tube TV (...). All in all, I had a really good school time here that I remember fondly.
