::Good food, good position, a bit e pensive but being in the middle of the main square in Munich it is quite inevitable. The sausages plate was great but we paid a bit for just a plate of French fries. Great beer too!

::It was mid August. We had Schnitzel and Rostbraten outside in the evening . Food and atmosphere was wonderful. And saw the Glockenspiel/trumpeter in the tower of city hall at 9pm right from where we sat.

::The food was fine, but the prices are high! The main meat dishes are almost double what they are elsewhere out of the tourist areas. 5 Euro for an 8oz water! Can I have some free tap water? Ridiculous. Tourist trap but my pizza was alright. Service was fine.

::Wanted to sit outside in Marienplatz and enjoy the view and people while sipping coffee (beer for hubby). Though quite a bit of tables were empty, and it wasn't dinner or lunch time (3pm), the server came and almost didn't give us a table, asking us whether we were going to dine in to eat. When we said we just wanted drinks, they said, no room, and then changed their mind and asked another server and gave us a table after all. Coffee and beer was great. But like everywhere else in Germany, ask for a cup of ice, or coffee with ice, and it's like they think you're from outer space. What is the deal with not giving out ice? Do they not sell freezers with ice makers in Germany in 2023? A dopio espresso is 7 euros, and I would think asking it to be over ice is not such a big ask... The server took our order, brought the order, and then left us alone until we asked for the bill. And then when he brought the bill, he had a smile that was non existent up till now. He also made sure he told us, like FOUR times, that the price does not include gratuity. Service pretty much ruined everything else that was great about this place.
