  ..a building with a fabulous history .. built in 1738 and run as an inn since 1875. In 1910 a variety called "Walhalla" opened there ... and now the hammer is coming ... In this variety, world-famous artists such as ... Charlie Chaplin, Enrico Caruso, Richard Tauber and Trude Hesterberg performed under sophisticated conditions in the 1920s . For several generations, the house was owned by the family ... until catastrophic historical events caused the building to be degraded to a storage site in GDR times and extremely dilapidated ... with attention to detail and history, it was reconstructed and expanded, through the project "Mole" which works with convicted juvenile offenders. Reopened in 2008 with the old name "Walhalla" ... The mysterious fireplace in the dining room is definitely worth seeing😁 Currently the gastronomy is run by Greeks who unfortunately do not differ from the crowd of their colleagues ... unfortunately there is no sign the outer wall, which refers to the former famous artists😎

  Very nice place and sweet staff! The room was well equipped and the bed and shower neat and well.

  The room, the location, the surroundings with the Greek restaurant at the entrance and courtyard and the service / friendliness were excellent. We (bicycle) used the free parking spaces at the Potsdam Biosphere.
