As a long-time customer of Volksbank Büren-Salzkotten, I feel called to write a review about my experiences with this bank branch. I've had my savings account there since I was a child and since then my connection to the bank has only strengthened. What struck me particularly positively was the excellent customer service and personal care that I received on every visit. One of the most notable features of Volksbank Büren-Salzkotten is the willingness of its staff to invest time for their customers. This was also evident when I last opened an account. Instead of just informing me that the bank branch will soon be closed, as was the case with another bank, the Volksbank Büren-Salzkotten team took the time to inform me in detail about the different account options. They patiently answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable and well informed. The advisors in this branch are extremely competent and professional. They convey the feeling that they truly care about their customers' financial needs and concerns. Not only did they help me find the right account for me, but they also provided additional information and advice to best manage my money. In addition, Volksbank Büren-Salzkotten has also implemented modern technology that allows customers to carry out their banking transactions from the comfort of their own home or on the go. The online banking platform is user-friendly and reliable, saving me time and effort. All in all, I can warmly recommend Volksbank Büren-Salzkotten. ::The service now really leaves a lot to be desired. VoBa should start thinking about this! Everything costs money, but that's perfectly fine for good performance. I've just missed them for a long time!! I will now be terminating both of my company accounts as soon as possible. You have had an account since 2002 and is managed by Mr. Schumacher. ::Unfortunately I have to revise my review. Since the merger with OWL, I am no longer satisfied with the bank. I got a bank advisor who didn't want to act in my interests, and after several requests to change the advisor, this couldn't be done either. ETF funds are apparently not possible at Volksbank, but the good lady wanted to advise me on various insurance policies, use existing ones and explain to me that I should diversify widely. The MSCI World is well and securely positioned with a return of 5-7% and I don't have to bear any administration costs etc., which means I end up with a more negative outcome than if I did it myself. The new bank models are also far too expensive for today. Of course, bank employees need to be financed and good service has its price, but not for 100 euros a year. Personally, I would have liked fairer prices. It's a shame actually, I really enjoyed going to the local bank beforehand. But several factors have led to this.

::I find it lacking to pin down negative points on a single fact. Savings week chaotic??? I think there are other problems than waiting times....Everything costs money.??? Guys, a bank also has to run a business, hardly anything is earned from loan fees/interest. You should see it as a whole. I think the bank is excellent. I realized a mammoth project here that probably couldn't be implemented anywhere else. I'm happy to pay a fee or two for this, or wait in line during savings week. I would give the entire team a medal :)

::Negative criticisms are always easier to write than positive ones, which is why I find it difficult! We have opened a business account and a private account at Volksbank, both accounts have been managed by Mr. Schumacher for about 8 months. When there was a financial problem, Mr. Schumacher put his full effort into finding solutions. In my opinion this man deserves a legitimate medal. Accordingly, I recommend that the Volksbank and Mr. Schumacher continue to work professionally.
