::Another company which prefers to get your money instead of satisfying their customer. I terminated my contract and got a confirmation of my termination within the 1 month period of notice. Since I still had 1 month to go, I paused that remaining month since we are in the middle of a Pandemic. BUT instead of cancelling my membership, USC just set it active again. After I contaced the customer service they told me that there should have been a pop-up window telling me this rule. Nevertheless I never got informed about this "rule" by mail and I had to pay another month. I understand that USC might be in trouble getting their money during Corona. BUT so are your customers as well. This rule is a joke and it shows that you don't care about your customers, but only the money.

::The worst is that once you sign up, you cannot quit without paying an additional month after you cancel. Even with Coronavirus pause you must pay 60 Euros to quit. The management acts like getting your money is more important than customer satisfaction and fairness.

::They customer support is a night mare. I’m in contact for nearly four months and they haven’t been able to solve an issue which they caused. They motivated me to get a legal expenses insurance to not deal with issues like this in the future. :( The idea behind urban sports is amazing. It was something I really would like to support. But this is a no go.

::Very bad business practices. Be careful when dealing with this company. I had a subscription (L - 100 EUR per month) and then COVID hit. I decided to pause my membership till I am able to workout indoors again. At the end of August I thought it is finally time for me to unpause my membership and do more sports. I unpaused my membership on the 29th of August and was utterly surprised three days later when I found that UrbanSports decided to charge me for the full month of August (100 EUR) instead of charging me only the two days I used their services in August. What made it even worse they took another 100 EUR from bank account on the first September. I contacted the customer support and they are not even trying to understand the situation. Please be careful when dealing with this company. --------------------------------- EDIT: After contacting the customer support and going back and forth with them for over a week they finally decided to give me back my money as online credits. I will change this review to 3 stars since my problem got solved but I still believe that ideally I don't have to go through this stressful process.

::I tried the L package of Urban Sports Club within their three month discounted trial period. During this trial I went for vacation for a month, so it didn't make sense to pay for a month and I paused a month. Logically one would assume that a paused month would not count into the trial period. But Urban Sports Club unfortunately counted the pause month as the second month. Therefore I paid for the third month of using Urban Sports Club the full fee instead of the discounted. I contacted their support, but they didn't want to offer any solution for this horrible customer experience. I don't mind paying the full amount, but it's about the principle. Instead of offering me the agreed three months discount they offered a bad customer experience. After the fourth month I cancelled. I'd recommend being careful with their discounted offers. Other than that the product itself is great. For Hamburg the wide range of activities might be a great solution. Especially for people who like to do different things, instead of committing only to one studio.
