::I can only say good things. Both doctors and nursing staff take your fears and concerns seriously. Everything is explained in detail if necessary and the nursing staff even tries to take their time when tears “just” need to flow.

::I am very stunned. I was very scared at first, but then I was very well informed about the next steps. Overall, I felt like I was in very good hands, especially with Prof. Dr. Simon. Everyone seemed very competent and was able to help me well. I'm feeling much better now. Of course I hope it stays that way, but if not I will definitely come back. Big praise to the chief physician. Thanks alot!

::I report on an “exceptional operation” in view of the rarity of an operation on the thoracic vertebra (intervertebral disc) after a spinal cord injury. During my three-week stay on the NC1 in Gilead I, I not only received rapid emergency therapy and meaningful diagnostics, but also a top team of neurosurgery surgeons! I felt taken seriously and very well informed at all times, including about the risks during the operation (wheelchair due to paraplegia). Doctors, nurses and physiotherapists were available at all times, concerned about my well-being and very supportive during the challenging time before and after the complex procedure during my stay. Here, plain language is spoken, which I really appreciate, and the doctors act according to their calling. “I can walk on two legs relatively pain-free again” - a lifelong gratitude to the neurosurgery team at Ev. Bethel Gilead I Hospital

::I had surgery on a tumor here in Bethel. Both Professor Simon and his assistants, nursing staff and support staff are really very nice and accommodating. I feel really comfortable here. Of course, it is currently Corona time and therefore no visitors are possible. But the ladies and gentlemen here are really very friendly. 😊 Thanks to everyone involved.

::Unfriendly nurses and doctors. They sent me away despite a slipped disc and a pinched nerve. With a painkiller. The next day I was there again. Had surgery a week later. Clarification zero. Not smoking seems to be more important than leg paralysis. Never, ever again. Not recommendable.
