::A nice, quiet country hotel. The room was a good size. The bathroom with a tiny separate toilet, on the other hand, is small. Everything was very clean. The food was very good home-style and Thuringian hearty. I couldn't make friends with the Saalfeld beer, but there were plenty of alternatives. The employees deserve my fullest praise. There was nothing missing. And if something was running low for breakfast, it was quickly refilled. Only the hotel parking lot, which is about 150m away, was at its limits despite the average hotel occupancy and unfortunately there are no alternative spaces in town.

::I've been in two different rooms, one bed was better than the other. Food was quite nice, cozy looking hotel with a nice view of the pool and town from the terrace/Biergarten.
