::the pros: clean rooms. good mattress. perfect location at the beach separated by a road. perfect breakfast. quick room service. stable and strong wifi. they have text via email to address small issues like room service. imessage would be better as the system responds time is far greater. the next we call for coffee to the room in the morning. which worked better than the text via email as respond time is slow and leaves expectation open and not addressed. the food over all is great. fresh and all kinds of variants. it’s feels like the hotel is run by a chef. the Germans have separate dog beaches. which is not too far from the hotel facing south. [when going to the beach be aware of plenty of nudes. they do not have dedicated nude beaches as loads of people doing it without hesitation. you walk you dog and suddenly you see all of the anatomy from all demographics. they do not have a sign of warning for that but plenty of other signs 🤪] the challenges: the service at the ‘weitblick’ is slow. really slow. on a Friday they needed 38 minutes between the courses. on the next Saturday after the appetizer I had to ask for the main to be served after 46 minutes wait and no action. and the restaurant was not by all means full. they apologized and offered shots. could have been easily avoided by a attentive staff and always leaves a bad taste for the whole weekend experience: expectation management is key for a great experience. when arriving via google maps or apple maps you will be directed to the back side of the hotel. weird. could be fixed or maybe they see a reason behind that issue. when leaving the elevator first time to check into your room, you will find no direction : left or right. so you get lost and have to to the math yourself with all luggage in hand. could be easily fixed. the parking garage offers couple of electric car chargers. as we arrived in an EV we were asking for the chance of charging. first: you can use the room key to access the garage. that’s convenient. you need a second key to start the charge at the stations. they charge €6 per hour. just if you charge or even the has been fully charged. so when arriving at 5pm and plugging in your car is full at 2am in the night. you extra as you obviously would not set the alarm to re-park your vehicle. that system with fix money per time is bad. it’s like you wanna fill a pool with 34.000 liter of water; they give you a garden hose and charge by the minute. first: please drop the key for the charger itself. your garage is already only accessible via authorized key. 2nd: offer plenty of regular power outlets: the German 230V Schuko outlet: every EV has a standard charge cable on board. even for a one night stay with up to 19h time, every electric can be charge decently that way. low cost in infrastructure to the hotel. as the €6 per hour is a rip off, we charged at the Kurverwaltung approx 700m away from the hotel for €5 in total energy. the hotel would have charged us €54 for the same outcome. definitely something to think about.

::What a disappointment. The rooms outdated design looks like a max. 3-star hotel, but they generously gave themselves a 5-star rating, which is a joke. All of the staff are 16-20 year old interns, who have no idea of what's going on most of the time. Literally not one competent person who works there. There is no phone in the room, only an ipad to communicate with reception, which doesn't work. When I tried calling reception from my own phone, they didn't pick up, so at 9 months pregnant I had to go down myself to ask a simple question. Wifi was non-existent in our room, when I complained about it, they told me "it's a free service they provide" so basically I should shut up about it. No sorry, no class, no hospitality. TV has 400 channels, not one of them is for international guests, all German. You pay 400€/night and they charge you extra for parking. The prices are luxurious but everything else is low-quality. I would never return. I give 2-star because the breakfast was good.

::Had a great dinner. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Food and drinks we're freshly made and served very quickly. AMEX cards are accepted here. We'll definitely come back! Edit: stayed over Christmas. Staff seemed quite overwhelmed with the amount of guests at Dinner.

::This hotel is nothing short of magical and has quickly become one of my favorite in the world! Designed to perfection, it has a super cool vibe, yet offers all the sophistication of a world class hotel, with unsurpassed service, gorgeous rooms and suites with stunning views of the Baltic Sea, featuring local artists throughout, the most delicious gourmet cuisine and best breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen and tasted, a beautiful 3,000 Square Meter Spa, as well as hands down the hippest yet friendly hotel management! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!! Yes please, more please! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

::Nice hotel with great views of the Baltic Sea. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of homemade products. The huge pool which leaves enough room for swimming and the sauna are great. My absolute favorite was our dinner at the rooftop restaurant „Weitblick“. We enjoyed a delicious aperitif, the berrycocktail and a surf and turf starter. The halibut and the steak were fantastic as well. We definitely will try to make it back for another delicious meal up there. The hotel reception and entire staff were really nice and helpful.
