::I can't understand the predominantly positive reviews. Unfriendly, slow and actually just rude. The best and quickest way to get treatment is to book all the examinations in advance, which you have to pay for yourself. When you sit in the waiting room for hours (because you have acute symptoms that you couldn't announce two weeks in advance), the most common sentence is "You still need examinations, but you have to pay for them yourself." And the mostly older patients obediently walk up to the counter and pull out their wallets. When I think about it for a while, I'm still more shocked...

::Was there 6 years ago. I received great service and was treated well. With very good success. Was there again today. Long wait.... OK, I'll let it slide, the treatment was a kick in the toilet for me. After the statement: "you don't need therapy for it" Us please??? I see wavy lines (like 6 years ago) and am told I don't need anything. That's very cheeky for me. That was probably my last visit there

::I only rate the patient reception here: I went to the practice because of an emergency, where I am also a patient. My acute medical problem occurred around lunchtime and I went to the practice straight away. When we got there, the lady at the registration desk complained to me in such a harsh tone that it was Friday afternoon and she didn't have an emergency appointment. I should have called early. Yes, but I didn't have anything yet. I'm not driving just for the fun of it them in practice, but because I need help. The annoyed lady gave me a piece of paper with a phone number and told me to call. I can't be helped here and all in such an unfriendly tone. The practice management should urgently be reconsidered here, the first impression counts and it is absolutely miserable here. If the lady doesn't like her job and the patients are too much for her, she should reconsider her calling. Unfortunately I can't make a recommendation. I was helped at the Südblick eye clinic, which left a great and, above all, very friendly impression on me. So things are always different, too busy times.

::Me and my family (husband, three kids) have been in the practice for several years and overall it has always been ok. There are always friendly and less friendly staff, we also had longer waiting times and the next time everything went very quickly. I would have rated the practice as average for adults and good for children (the vision school is always great!) but what I experienced on site today makes me strongly doubt whether the practice still cares about the patients or just one is a commercial enterprise. The trigger was a so-called IGEL service, which I was confronted with directly at reception without any advice. Without knowing the meaning and purpose of the service, I didn't want to do it and initially refused. When I went to the doctor it was again about the fact that I didn't want to pay for a service that I didn't know the purpose of. The doctor's tone was very rude. Apparently the service was already offered to me and explained to me (according to the file). The statement “The service will never be covered by the health insurance fund because otherwise the device will never be refinanced” honestly left me speechless. During my last visit I already suspected that an examination had been carried out just because it could be billed additionally and today this... My conclusion: the practice is large and modern and you can be lucky or unlucky who you meet there, but I very much question whether you actually only get the treatments that are needed.

::Unfortunately no recommendation. We were there in March 2023 with our then 1-year-old sons. Despite an appointment (and without eye drop treatment, which might take longer), we were left sitting in the waiting room for almost two hours - and that with small children. The treatment was fine at the time. Today we were there again for a check-up and we definitely won't be coming back. The doctor didn't take our concerns seriously ("He doesn't have anything.") and explanations were only given to us when we asked and were annoyed. You feel rather unwanted. Unfortunately we don't recommend it! Unfortunately, interim treatment at the orthoptist in Metzstrasse (the treatment back then was very good and sensitive) cannot change this.
