::Terrible internet. Poor quality of rooms. Very old hotel. Also the average age of guests is around 65. Really old fashioned hotel. Floor plans are like labyrinths.

::Rooms are comfortable and very clean, just the furniture looks a bit dated, just with new upholstery. The wooden wardrobes are huge and fine but look like they have been there since the start. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit and vegetable juice options that you make yourself which I haven't seen elsewhere and loved. The pool is a good size and there is a steam room, they supply salts for a body peeling, there are also 3 saunas and loads of lounges to rest on. The Whirlpool was nit in operation sadly. The cafe staff are a bit hopeless, disappearing for long periods of time do despite waiting at least 15 minutes, I didn't manage to get a tea and some cake, although the variety looked good. The reception staff didn't do anything to help find the person, even after asking, which was a bit disappointing. There are loads of other restaurants and cafes really close by, so I just went elsewhere to eat and drink, although I had looked forward to staying in house mostly.

::The food was bad. The staff was nice. But there is investment missing in a modern Environment. The bar has 3 cocktails on its menu. Don't even try. Some rooms in our group were dirty...

::A chique hotel with very friendly and service oriented staff. We enjoyed our stay here (2 nights) and do want to come back! Definitely a hotel to enjoy Bad Pyrmont. The rooms are clean and hygienic, the room temperature was very pleasant (warm) and spacious (we had the double room and our room had the park view). The breakfast was excellent and there are a lot of options. Diet wise there are enough possibilities (gluten/lactose/milk free) and is just a request away. I can recommend the sauna facilities! I can recommend this hotel just for its breakfast!!!

::I'd expected more from a Steigenberger. Hotel looks dated due to the colors used but given the fact that most clientèle seems to be in their 70s this is not necessarily an issue. I'd booked a Deluxe room because the website said these were all located at the back of the hotel. So I was a bit surprised to get a huge room at the front. That's a bit of an issue because between traffic noise and the smokers you don't want to open the windows. However the hotel lacks any airco so rooms get HOT! After complained to a very surely woman at reception I got another room at the back which was much nicer. Rooms are a bit, well sparse. There's a fridge with a bottle of water though. And a balcony. WiFi is ok. Cleaning isn't great. There was something disgusting jammed between the tiles on the balcony. Big grease stains on one of the curtains and dust under the bed. The mattress is wrapped in a heavy plastic cover which is undoubtedly hygienic but makes a hot room almost unsleepable. It is also extremely hard! Breakfast is excellent! Loads of fresh quality products and excellent breads! The bar lacks atmosphere and has a very short list of drinks and no snacks. It also seems to open at random times. Bar tender was friendly and alert to customers running low on drinks There's a fitness room with a few machines (closely grouped together which is strange in covid times). Depending on which staff member you speak it is open at all times or between 0700 and 2100. There is sometimes towels and disinfectant. The room has a little flyer in it to entice guests to have their room cleaned less often in exchange for a voucher but when I tried that I just got a note from housekeeping saying that they couldn't do their job due to my do not disturb. Staff varies. The Asiatic looking young man at breakfast was really friendly. Some of the middle aged women made me feel that any non German guest was a major nuisance Manning ceckout on Friday was a single staff member so a queue formed. She also tried to charge me for some kind of spa card that I knew nothing about but due to my poor German and her facemask and the big plastic screens I may have misunderstood her. It seemed strange Next time in Bad Pyrmont I'm back in the park hotel, less fancy but much more hospitable and significantly cleaner
