::If there is a bakery or café in this tranquil place, then please go to Mengel. Quality over quantity is the motto here. Significantly better than the bakery chains that also exist in the city.

::Unfortunately there are no more seats in the branch on Burgstrasse (we always liked going there and it wasn't that impersonal) which is why we had to move here. The service wasn't particularly friendly, 2 plates with cake and 2 large cups of coffee crema were squeezed with a saucer onto the tablet that was too small (so that a cup inevitably had to overflow) and collected at the other end and then turned to other customers. Any circumspection was missing. The cheese cream cake was mediocre in taste (not very aromatic). The coffee crema lacked strength. (Feels pretty thin). The ambience wasn't that great and it was very loud (as other reviewers have already noted). I bought some bread (Paderborner) - it's very good. We no longer want to visit this branch.
Wild Heart
::Here you can get good cakes, tarts, bread, rolls and pastries. Everything is presented very attractively and cleanly. For me it's the best Frankfurter Kranz I've eaten so far. The caramel muffins were large and very good, but unfortunately we ate them too quickly, so unfortunately no photo. The idea of offering them in edible packaging (wafer) is very good. We also ordered our fantastic wedding cake here.

::It is a pastry shop with tasting, where they also sell bread. They have an outdoor terrace ideal for relaxing while watching the crowds of passers-by who never stop passing through this commercial artery of the city. Special mention must be made of the cakes and sweets on this site, they are very well made, of very good quality and delicious. A ten for these cakes.
