::The lines to this museum can be long and in the case of our visit, almost out to the street. However, the inside is even more crowded. In front of each piece there were at least 3 or 4 people blocking the view. For the price, the museum should really improve their crowd management strategy rather than trying to make as much money as they can by packing in as many people as possible. In terms of the exhibitions, they were all fine, but nothing truly on the level of other top tier European cities.

::Arrived on a Sunday around 13:15. I’ll include a picture of how long the line was when I arrived. Took 15 minutes to get inside. Weekend prices are a tad higher. I paid 16euro. I almost ordered my ticket on line because there was no line for online tickets ordered entrance but, I read at the bottom that it could take up to 6 hours to receive your electronic ticket. I recommend if you buy your ticket online do it the day prior. They have lockers to secure bags and large purses. There is a cloak room to check in your coat. Museum was great and many spectacular pieces. I went primarily for the Rubens. I spent about 2.5 hours there. I highly recommend it. Many other local attractions and museums in that area. I walked there from my hotel, the Marriott, and it was easy walk and enjoyable view.

::Had a wonderful visit to the Stadel Museum. There was a great Rubens exhibit and I enjoyed the audio tour which gave helpful insight and little known facts. I also had a light meal and a delightful cup of tea at their wonderful cafe! Bonus: I bought a couple of nice things for my kids at the gift shop. This was the highlight of my day in Frankfurt!

::Wonderful art, less wonderful personnel. Arbitrary safety regulations that are rudely enforced (don't bring a handbag that will be considered too big. Nobody is actually interested in what's inside your bag, but its size is important. You have a jacket? Don't you dare not wear it. Carrying it is out of the question). Also, be careful when reading plaques, an alarm might go off and lead to a reprimand ^^

::Excellent Museum. Filled with antique and contemporary art. It's a great mixture of the two. The museum have a great gift shop filled with a good range of art related books and an elegant space to sit down have a coffee and read. Friendly staff, free wifi and it cost 14€ to get in. The hot drinks are at a good price too.
