::I was in the Kurpfalzklinik for 12 days because the Marcumars were discontinued. It was a real catastrophe, the food was bad, the nursing staff was bad and every day a new doctor... who knew nothing... Yesterday I discharged myself... that they still call something like a hospital may..

::The very last!! I've never experienced anything like that, even in a German prison it's better!! My father was transferred here from the university clinic because he still needs infusions (every 6 hours) after an operation. These are often completely forgotten, or given hours too late... There isn't even a coffee that allows you as a patient to get out of your room and spend a little time with your relatives. Visiting hours are also the biggest joke for working people!!! When I asked if there was a possibility that I could visit my father after 7 p.m., I was simply told: I should just leave work earlier.... Outrage! Even in the intensive care unit at the university hospital, after consultation, this was absolutely no problem.

::If there was an option to give no star I would do it. The last hospital, gloomy, unfriendly staff (except for one nurse) and no compassion let alone sensitivity to convey difficult news. Doctors try to force conversations on you and don't give you a chance to exchange ideas with each other and bring unimportant topics into such a final conversation. The relatives are not given a chance to rest and mourn. No exchange between staff. You notice that it's all about economics. Heidelberg is often seen as progressive, but the experiences we had have proven more than the opposite.

::A bad temporary storage facility for the UKHD, dirty and contaminated with germs. It's more likely to make you sick. I was there after a heart valve operation and was put into a three-bed room with an incontinent Parkinson's patient. The bathroom facilities could not be used because the patient's catheter bags were stored there. The staff felt like 90% had migration backgrounds and poor German. An interim storage facility for the UKHD, the measuring devices and technical equipment and its functional tests have been running for years, the house itself remained standing in the 1960s. It's best to close the house

::It's a very clean and confortable hospital. The nurses are friendly and helpful. they take care individual for your needs. Rooms are big and airy. Medical assisstance is good. All in all a good choice.
