::OPENING HOURS - COMEDY If you go swimming in the morning when the pool is opened from 7-8, means you are able to get in at 7 (change, to swimsuit,..) and shall be out (back from the shower, in clothes, dry hair) by 8. I have never ever took a swim in a pool less chlor-ated than this one. Also, girls, the hair dryers suck.

::Very nice, clean sport swimming pool. There is a section for children as well as for athletic swimmers. You need to bring 2euro coin for the locker with you.

::Great for athletic swimmers. If your idea of swimming is to actually swim a distance without much of a hassle, this is your place; if you are rather looking for fun and play in and by the pool, try elsewhere. Sportbad an der Elster is a 50m indoor swimming pool, newly built just a few years ago. Everything is new and clean, and marked lanes, uncommon in Germany in public swimming pools, facilitate serious swimming. There is only one nuisance: the very limited opening hours, as the pool is often occupied by sports clubs or school classes.
