::I had taken out a loan for my condominium and now, after 10 years, I have taken out follow-up financing with another bank because they offered me much better conditions than Sparda Bank could ever offer. In December I called Sparda Bank and asked how the whole thing was going and the advisor said that I shouldn't do anything else because the banks handle everything themselves. Now on April 2nd, 2024 the new bank transferred the money to Sparda Bank. However, there is an outstanding balance of €2100 that Spard Bank intentionally did not deduct from my account. The Sparda Bank wanted to make some extra money in the last few days and imposed a fine of €5 per day on me. On April 5th, 2024 I got a call from Sparda Bank, which I unfortunately missed. After 40 minutes I called the bank back and had to stay on hold for another 27 minutes. After 27 minutes on hold, I caught a very unmotivated employee who told me that she had nothing to do with the call and that she couldn't do anything. I should just wait and see, someone will get in touch at some point. On the afternoon of April 5, 2024, a consultant called me and asked what would happen to the remaining amount. Of course I told her that I would wait until you finally deduct the money because you haven't done anything else for the last 10 years. Now I HAVE to pay a fine of €5 per day because I received incorrect information from my own Sparda bank. In the future, I and my circle of friends will avoid working with this bank.

::Customer service terrible. The first lady had no idea, admitted this and promised me a colleague would call me back. Of course, this recall never materialized. Just on hold today... We have been customers for decades, over several generations, but unfortunately a change is becoming increasingly likely. The account management fees, and even a fee to be able to use the EC card at all, are no longer competitive.

::Unfortunately, after 8 years with Sparda Bank, the cooperation has now been terminated by the bank. But the loans are not good as long as you pay everything, but as soon as you expect the Sparda Bank service it takes a very long time until you get the right information. I think Sparda Bank is on the verge of bankruptcy because a lot of branches in Regensburg have already been closed and you have to pay for everything. The upper rental workers are very snooty, some of them are bank salespeople, insurance agents and Schwäbisch Hall consultants just to lure more money out of the customers' pockets. I'm wondering, isn't it a conflict of interest? It's a shame I expected more from a cooperative bank. I even wrote to the bank for comment, unfortunately after 3 months with no response. Conclusion Stay away, it's just not worth it. If you go to independent financial advice you will be in better hands.
