::Uwe and Annett are really friendly people who made our stay on Rennsteig sweeter. Competent contact person for our hike. Beautiful cozy accommodation, delicious food and hospitality... We were very satisfied. Even though the descent from Rennsteig and the ascent the next day were relatively long, we would stop there again. ::Just wonderful! From the first moment I felt really comfortable in the ski and hiking hut. Hospitality out of conviction. The food in the evening is an absolute must, really excellent Thuringian cuisine, freshly cooked, amazing. I was even served dinner on days when it was actually a rest day and it wasn't really worth it for just one guest. The breakfast is absolutely great, extremely plentiful and extensive. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and the price-performance ratio is great. There are wonderful tours starting from the hut, and if you like, you can also run the Rennsteig.

::The ski and hiking hut fully meets the needs of nature-loving hiking enthusiasts. Thuringian dishes are tastefully served in the restaurant. The rustic, huge tiled stove is beautifully integrated into the ambience of the guest room. The rooms are ideal for hiking groups. The anteroom invites you to celebrate in a cozy atmosphere. If you want to feed yourself, you can do it. stove, kettle, coffee filter machine, refrigerator; everything available. The hike around the Hermannsberg was the highlight of the WE. P.S. The breakfast was great. For me, as an old restaurateur, the overall package is an insider tip!
