::Dont go to this bank ! I came to this bank to open a bank account but they kept postponing my appointment for different excuses like the employee doesn't speak english then the employee is sick it happened for 4 times then the last time they even lied about not having my name in the appointment list then they "found" it when i showed them the email , rude service and disrespectful ,no one deserves to be treated like that , i suggest you go to another branch not this one. They wasted enough of my time im choosing another bank that respects me.

::These people are horrible. I just moved to Cologne to work as a software engineer and I walked in yesterday to open an account. The teller was completely obtuse in scheduling an appointment to open an account and he originally said my work contract wasn't long enough to have an account with them. When I asked to speak with a banker, the woman I was directed to told me Santander doesn't open accounts for non-Germans. When I told her Santander is currently based in the US and it shouldn't be a problem for me to open an account as a US citizen, given they are a multinational bank based in the states and have locations all around Europe, she denied Santander being based in the states. She said they just have a Spanish name but they are a German bank and they protect German interests. Racism like this has no place in business!
