  S Bornholmer strasse is a big station situated in the heart of Berlin.It has a major connection with S1, S2, S8, S26 and S85.Not only this it has a great connectivity with Trams number 50 and M13.Besides this station there is an amazing cherry blossom park, in that trees pink flowers comes every year.

  This S-Bahn-station is one of the busiest in the city for all the trains from the North and North-East to the city. They have a interchange / crossing section between the trains to the city centre and to the East-side of Berlin. The ambient of the train station is very rugged, most of the stairways are very dirty, but they try to clean up every day. For this the station give you a good introduction to the very special charm of Berlin. The second important fact for this place is the former control post of the Berlin wall. At the important day of reopening the wall, the Nov 9th of 1989, this control post was one of the first whose had been getting down. Some steps beside (maybe 2min walking) you find a small place called for this important history event. The third more beautiful fact for this station is wonderful view form the bridge to the city centre and the television tower. If you are in good mood and want to show your friends the romantic city life in summer time ... this one is very special.

  I find the layout of this station to be quite beautiful, but there has been some construction going on for months which can make the place a little confusing. There is a nice pedestrian bridge outside of the station which has good views
