::We had to climb a small hill through the forest with two suitcases because in St.Goar nothing works, there are no taxis and hotel never picked up their phone. My shoulder got really hurt from this climb. After our complaint, hotel did not even offer a free drink as compensation. The view was really nice though.

::Lovely place! Easy to reach and plenty of parkings. We chose the deluxe room in the villa. It was nice and clean with a great view. The wellness was great! We went during dinner time and had the entire place to ourselves. There’s 3 saunas and a nice pool. Breakfast is quite cheap compared to what they offer. However, it felt like on the second day the bread wasn’t fresh, like it were the leftovers from the day before. Be sure to be on time or reserve a table for breakfast during weekends so that you can sit by the window and enjoy the view. Plenty of fun places to explore in a 1 hr radius. Good restaurants in the nearby city Koblenz.

::Beautifull hotel! We were in the Villa next to the hotel, which has great views but u have to go outside to go to the wellness area. The wellness area is cosy but small, but has everything, even a steamroom! Everything is quite dated but very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great but i found the staff not as friendly, nu the reception they are real helpfull! Overal great experience! Unique!

::Our stay here exceeded our expectations, which were already very high before we arrived. Our room was beautiful, the balcony overlooking the Rhine was a spectacularly romantic way to enjoy the beauty of this region. We dined both nights of our stay at the hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance and service.

::Very mixed. Stayed for 2 nights while hiking through. Stunning location. Room was nice but very hot and winter duvet in July. And too noisy to keep window open. Most staff were very nice, but not all. Brilliant cozy sauna spaces. Food was very disappointing - paid a lot for a poor tasting menu that ranged from solid to comedy. Worst meal on trip and cost about 5x more than average. Really nice Toni Jost Riesling though. If you have to eat here, go downstairs or order simple upstairs. Agree with earlier reviews that say this place thinks it is fancier than really is. It’s not a white lotus!
