  Handles both DB & HSB Harz Line trains, the latter from platform 3, so very handy for that. It is over 1km to get to the Heritage Centre of town, which is a shame as I was short of time. Maybe next time, I believe the town in No1 on “Best towns of Germany” list. But yes the station is dilapidated but I did manage to get a coffee and cake! So a shot of TLC by locals maybe?
