::We say in Spanish "quiero y no puedo" What they try to do is incompatible with zero details and (in relative terms) mass tourism. Five minutes after leaving, my wife phoned Relais & Chateaux asking for the last Catalogue.

::Probably the worst experience I had in the last couple of months. I ordered the first time (and most likely the last time) food at this place. Starting with the delivery, the food was super messed up as some of our dishes lacked sauce because it got spread all over the packaging during the drive (especially since the packaging is not really made for that purpose). This resulted in some of our dishes not having any sauce anymore, making the food very dry. After unwrapping the sauce-soaked packaging, which was a mess as well, we finally got the food ready, but directly I ran into the next issue: The delivered soups have all been so massively salty that we had to pour them away (it was really not edible and I’m definitely not picky about my salt intake). Missing the starter, we continued with the main dish, which itself was good, but tasted a lot like plastic at the top part. Why? Cause the whole plastic around was burned down to the food, giving it that unpleasant taste (and surely not healthy either). Before continuing with the dessert, I have to mention that you first have to bake the dessert at home (which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the first place), resulting in us needing to prepare the oven in between, baking the food and then preparing it with its additions that came in another unlabeled packaging. It was good in taste, but not worth the amount of effort and price in relation to that. While the whole experience wasn’t pleasant at all until this point, the high prices for that food are way out of any reasons for the quality and I highly encourage anyone to not spend any money on this as it feels like a scam (as sad as it sounds). I tried to call a couple of times at the place, but didn’t got any response back. Sad, but better select other places around, there’s plenty of options that put in the necessary amount of effort to even make the delivery a success.

::Very old traditional building with exceptionally good restaurant, but mind the bistro, the service is a little grumpy. Also wifi is not at any international bandwidth standard, even for Germany it is embarrassing. So better not for business trips.

::You cannot do better, if you visiting Bayreuth for the festival, excellent accommodation, delicious cuisine and a bus to take you there and back for the opera.

::A lovely small village hotel in Franken. Very professional staff - speaking English is no problem. Charging for electric cars avaliable free of charge. A stay at the hotel should always be combined with a visit to their innovative 2-star Michelin restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel is also exceptional. Fairly pricey with dinner and wine package, but well worth it.
